Reporting a bug in the CRM
If you notice something in the CRM that does not appear to be working correctly - an error message, unexpected behaviour, or a feature that is not responding - you can report it to the Reapit team.
How to report a bug
Click your avatar in the top-right corner to open the profile menu.
Point to Help centre, with the question-mark icon, to open its menu.
Select Report a bug.
A Report a bug form opens over the page, without navigating away from what you were doing. The first time you open it after loading the CRM it may take a second or two to appear, as the form is fetched only when you ask for it.
Fill in the description, optionally attach a screenshot, and select Send report.
Your name and email are filled in from your signed-in account where available, so in most cases you only need to describe the problem.
What to include in your report
A clear, detailed report helps the team investigate and fix the issue faster. Please include:
A description of the problem - what you expected to happen and what actually happened
Steps to reproduce - the exact sequence of actions that led to the issue
A screenshot - use Add a screenshot in the form; this is extremely helpful for visual or layout problems
Your browser and operating system - for example, "Chrome 124 on Windows 11"
The organisation and user account you were signed in as when the issue occurred
Which version of the CRM you are on - see below
The page you were on and recent technical details are attached automatically, so there is no need to note the time the issue occurred.
Which version of the CRM am I on?
Hover over the Reapit logo in the top left of the screen. A tooltip appears reading something like build 9f1c0dd. That short code identifies the exact version of the CRM you are using.
Including it in a bug report tells the team precisely which version you saw the problem in, which is especially useful just after a fix has been released - it confirms whether the fix had reached you yet.
After submitting
The form confirms it has been sent, and the support team reviews the report and follows up if they need more information. Critical issues affecting multiple users are prioritised.
If nothing happens when you select Report a bug, give it a few seconds the first time - the form is loaded on demand. If it still does not appear, your browser may be blocking part of the page - use Contact us instead and mention the problem.
Browsing help articles instead
Browse articles in the same menu opens https://help.crm.reapit.com in a new browser tab, where you can search these articles. It does not raise a bug report.
Not sure if it is a bug?
If you are unsure whether what you are seeing is a bug or expected behaviour, use Contact us instead (see How do I contact support?). The support team can help you determine the cause.
