Booking a market appraisal

Once a seller (vendor) persona exists for a lead, you can book the market appraisal — the visit where the agency views and values the property before the owner decides whether to instruct.

On the lead's persona card, the seller row has a Book marketing appraisal button. Selecting it opens a staff availability timeline in the action panel on the right.

Finding an open slot

The timeline shows one row per negotiator, with the day's hours running across the top and the appointments already in their diary, so free gaps are easy to spot.

  • Staff shown — the seller's office is loaded by default, and the negotiator already assigned to the property is highlighted with an Assigned marker. Each staff member appears as an avatar; hover over one to see their name and office.

  • Other offices — use the Timeline preferences button — the settings icon at the top right — to search for and add negotiators from other offices.

  • Change day — use the arrows or the date button (which opens a calendar) to move between days.

Making the booking

Click an open slot in a negotiator's row to start the booking. A short form appears with:

  • Start and End — the visit's times, seeded from the slot you clicked with a one-hour default. Type into either field, use the time picker, or nudge with the up/down arrow keys (in five-minute steps). The end must be after the start, and a slot that has already passed today can't be booked.

  • Notes — anything the negotiator should know before the visit

The appointment type is always Market Appraisal, so there's nothing to choose. The seller is added as the appointment's attendee automatically. Select Book appraisal to confirm — the appointment is saved and appears in the diary.

After booking

Once an appraisal is booked, the seller row's Book marketing appraisal button is replaced by a Marketing appraisal booked banner showing the appointment's date and time, so the whole team can see it's arranged at a glance.
